High School Team Checklist

  • »  Complete the online tournament roster using either our Boys Team Management tool or Girls Team Management tool.
  • »  Team ID number required. This is your team’s unique identifier received in your acceptance email.
    • »  Rosters received after the deadline will not appear in the tournament program.
    • »  For roster changes made after December 1, contact registrar@superrink.org
  • »  High School Certificate of Liability Insurance
    • »  The National Sports Center Foundation (NSCF) must be included on your school’s liability insurance policy “named as additional insured” with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 liability and $50,000 property damage coverage. Contact your athletic director to confirm that this insurance information is on file with the tournament registrar.
  • »  Fees
    • »  High schools registering both a varsity and a junior varsity team receive a $50 discount; be sure to deduct this amount from the total payment.
    • »  Make check payable to Schwan Cup.

Youth Team Checklist

  • »  Complete the online tournament roster using our Team Management tool. Team rosther is due December 1, 2010.
  • »  Team ID number required. This is your team’s unique identifier received in your acceptance email.
  • »  Direct parents to complete the online NSC liability waiver
    • »  Once the online roster has been completed, provide parents with the team ID number for this task. Liability waiver is to be signed by parents by December 27, 2010.
    • »  You may monitor the progress of your parents by selecting ‘View Roster’ from the online roster menu. The WV column to the left of the player’s name stands for waiver; each time a parent completes the online waiver, an ‘x’ is displayed in this column.
  • »  Players are not permitted to participate in the tournament without the NSC liability waiver on file.
  • »  Mail/Fax/Email a copy of your team’s official USA Hockey Roster.

Hotel lodging, if applicable.

  • »  Teams are required to stay in the official tournament hotels.
  • »  Provide the name, city and phone number of the hotel. Update as needed using the Team Management tool above.
  • »  Hotel contact information is used in an emergency. In the event that we are not able to contact you using your cell phone, we will contact you at the hotel.
  • »  The National Sports Center is also required by the State of Minnesota to track for economic impact. Did you know that the National Sports Center is second only to the Mall of America for economic impact and the number of annual visitors?
