ALL-SPORTS CAMPS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if my kid enjoys participating in one sport more than any other? (i.e. My son/daughter really enjoyed the golf week, is there a way he/she can participate in that all summer?)

Of course, the All-Sports Camp encourages kids to stay well rounded, but if a child has an extreme passion for one particular sport, then we will help get him/her properly situated with that desired sport on our campus.

What will be the ratio for coaches to participants?

Our goal is to keep the ratio as personable as possible; at best the ratio will be 5:1 but no more than 10:1.

What weeks are we offering the field trips?

See the summer schedule for 10 week participants.

Is there first aid/medical attention on campus for urgent care?

All coaches and trainers will be first aid and CPR certified and a medical staff will be nearby.

Where and when do we drop off our kids?

Drop off and pick up will occur at the Schwan Super Rink #7 located in the center of the NSC campus (see campus map).

How early can I drop my kid off and how late can I pick them up?

Drop off is between 7-9 am and pickup is between 4-6 pm. In the event that you cannot make the 6 pm pickup time, we will watch your child for an added fee of $10/half hour.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

The most comforting feature of the National Sports Center is the abundance of fine facilities for safe operations. In the event of bad weather, participants will meet at their safe central meeting point, the Schwan Super Rink #7 or an equivalent indoor space.

Will sports equipment be provided or should we plan to bring our own?

We will have equipment provided for all sports. In the event of ice sports, participants are encouraged to bring their own skates but be sure to notify us in the event that you need us to supply them. Children are invited to bring there own equipment for any sports activities but the NSC will not be held responsible for lost equipment.

What is the plan for meals?

Snacks will be provided in the mornings and afternoons. All participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Lunch can also be purchased on site for $5. Parents can also prepay. See the August meal plan.
