NSC Scrimmage Series

Minnesota clubs lose valuable full-field training time every winter, right when teams need it most to get ready for the spring season. The NSC Scrimmage Series solves that: two dedicated match days at the National Sports Center giving your U11-U12 team real game reps against new opponents before your season kicks off in May — with the field, the officials, and the competition all arranged for you.

• Two (2) 60-minutes back-to-back games
• One referee per game
• Minimum of 12 player per roster

• Application Information and Fees:
  • Team Registration Fee: $0
  • Player Fee: $18 per player
    • Each player fee is paid at the time of waiver completion.
    • Minimum of 12 players per roster.
• Application Deadline: March 26

REQUIRED FORMS DEADLINE – Friday, April 2nd, 2027

Team Manager/Coach – Please follow the instructions below to start the required forms process for the event. 

1. When accepted, you will receive an acceptance email with a ‘Go to Dashboard’ link at the bottom. Select this link to be directed to your dashboard.
2. From your team dashboard, copy the “Share Invite” link on the right side below your team name and send this out to your team members. Each parent/guardian will need to input their child’s information and agree to the player waiver before joining the team.
   • This step is REQUIRED for each player to be listed on the tournament roster.
   • At this time, the parent is REQUIRED to pay the $18 per player fee. 

Please note, proof of age is NOT required, however you must be prepared to provide proof of age for each player at the tournament IF the eligibility of your team is in question. 

• Teams dropping from the event prior to March 26, 2027 will receive player fee refunds. 
• Teams dropping from the tournament on or after March 26th will not receive the player fee refunds.
• Players being removed from a roster will receive a player fee refund prior to the required forms deadline. No refunds will be issued after the required forms deadline.
• Weather Cancellation Policy. If cancellation of the entire tournament occurs due to spring weather conditions, each team will receive a refund in the amount of the tournament fees or a voucher to be used at future NSC events. This does not apply to weather delays, shortened, rescheduled games and/or cancellation of tournament games after the event has begun.
• Event Cancellation Policy. The following policy will be enacted IF an event hosted by the National Sports Center MUST be canceled by the directives of the State of Minnesota or the Minnesota Department of Health. Please know that our top priority on making decisions moving forward will be the safety and health of our players, coaches, referees, employees, and fans. Team will receive a refund for your event entry.
• Team registration refunds will be processed at 100% of the registration total. Refunds will be credited to your account *Please note that if a team elects to drop prior to the event cancellation, the above refund policy will be in effect. This includes teams making their own decision to withdraw prior to the potential cancellation. If a customer (club, team, individual) is required to quarantine due to illness or exposure to the COVID-19 virus, and are unable to participate for this reason, a refund will not be issued unless done within the parameters of the existing policy.
