The Herb Brooks Holiday Classic once again will offer high school hockey players a place to showcase their talents. The event offers Boys Varsity, Boys Junior Varsity, Girls Varsity, Girls Junior Varsity, Junior Gold A, Junior Gold B, and Junior Gold 16U divisions. All divisions will be played the same three days offering a unique tournament setting.
New this year – Boys and Girls Varsity Championship Games will be held at Ridder Arena!

High School Varsity and JV Tournament Rules
The tournament will follow MSHSL rules
Overtime: 8-min sudden-death period, followed by a 3-man shootout. If still tied, a sudden death shootout ensues.
Junior Gold Tournament Rules
The tournament will follow USA/MN Hockey rules

Refund Policy
Teams dropping on or after November 1 will not be refunded the team entry fee.
Event Cancellation Policy: The following policy will be enacted IF an event hosted by the National Sports Center MUST be canceled by the directives of the State of Minnesota or the Minnesota Department of Health. Please know that our top priority in making decisions moving forward will be the safety and health of our players, coaches, referees, employees, and fans. The Team registration refunds will be processed at 100% of the registration total. Refunds will be credited to your account no later than February 1, 2024.
