MN Wild Adult Hockey League – Summer

Fall Season: September – December
Winter Season: January – May
Summer Season: May – August

• USA Hockey and Minnesota Hockey sanctioned
• Fall and summer teams are guaranteed ten regular games plus playoffs
• Winter teams are guaranteed 14 regular games plus playoffs
• All games will consist of three 17-minute periods and a 4-minute warm-up
• No checking, no slap shots
• Online league standings
• Team jerseys are required – Adult League jerseys are available for purchase. Contact the League Director for more information.
• Full-time league director
• Certified professional official

• A/B – Advanced/elite league – most competitive, skilled level of play offered. Played Tuesday evenings.
• C – Mid-level of competition for teams with average overall players. Played Sunday evenings.
• CII – Transitional level for weaker C teams, teams that are moving up from D level or for teams with a higher number of less experienced skaters. Played Sunday or Tuesday evenings.
• D – Intermediate, recreational – Played Sunday or Monday evenings.
• DII – For teams with a higher number of players with no competitive experience. Teams may be moved out of this division at the league’s discretion. Played Sunday evenings.
• 50+: Birth year 1975 or before (goalie can be 45 or older) Played Monday evenings.
• 60+: Birth year 1965 or before (goalie can be 55 or older) Played Wednesday evenings

*For the 2024-2025 season (player must turn of age within the USA Hockey calendar year September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025).

League games are played Sunday – Wednesday evenings

Weekday game starts range from 5:20 – 10:50 p.m.

Sunday game starts range from 2:20 – 10:50 p.m.

Typical league days for summer, fall and winter are:

• Sunday: C, CII, D, DII
• Monday: D & 50+
• Tuesday: A/B & CII
• Wednesday: 60+

Player Pool

The MN Wild Adult Hockey League is sanctioned by USA Hockey
All players must be listed on the team roster, complete the online NSC waiver with valid USA Hockey Confirmation

The MN Wild Adult Hockey League takes individual player applicants who want to play in the league, but don’t have a complete team. Teams that are looking for additional players are referred to the player pool, and Team Managers will contact the players. Team Manager information is not given out. This does NOT guarantee team placement.

To apply for the pool, please create an account here: https://www.nsceventhq.org. Once created, select ‘Player Pool Sign Up’ under the Customer Tools tab at the top of the home page. From there, select the session of the league that you wish to sign up for, complete the information on that page and click the ‘Join Pool’ tab.

Sub Goalie List

Goalies are always needed to sub at the last minute. Goalies interested in subbing for teams should register in our goalie sub list. Team managers will have access to this list and will contact you if they need a goalie sub.
