Kick or Treat Indoor Soccer Tournament

2025 Tournament rules will abide by the 2026 MYSA Season birth year chart. Teams will play their three guaranteed games and play-off games (if qualified) in the same day, according to the dates listed per division.

2025 Game Days – 

High level competitive teams are encouraged to register for the next highest age group above to encourage equal game play as each division is conducted as one open flight. 

• Thursday Oct. 23 – Boys 12U (Games start at 4:50pm)
• Friday Oct. 24 – Girls 12U (Games Start at 4:50pm)
• Saturday Oct. 25 – Boys 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 14U (Games All Day)
• Sunday Oct. 26 – Girls 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 14U (Games All Day)
• Monday Oct. 27 – Girls 13U (Games Start at 4:50pm)
• Tuesday Oct. 28 – Boys 13U (Games start at 4:50pm)
• Wednesday Oct. 29 – Girls & Boys 15U (Games start at 4:50pm)
• Thursday Oct. 30 – Girls & Boys High School 16U-19U (Games start at 4:50pm)

Kick or Treat is a non-sanctioned tournament and accepts all teams, including club, intraclub, tournament teams or even just a group of friends who want to play.

Tournament Features

• Tournament will be conducted as one open flight
• Depending on total number of teams in identified age divisions, the tournament may combine age divisions and/or break out competitive levels
• Teams will be notified prior to tournament if groups are combined
• Team awards for champions
• Costume Contest Award – See section below for more details!
• Played in the NSC Sports Hall on infill turf
• World Cup groups
• Three-game guarantee
• All games played in the same day
• 40-minute games (20-minutes halves)
• Top two teams advance to playoffs
• Artificial turf surface (field size approx. 30 x 55 yards)
• Four field players and a goalkeeper
• 12 Player Max Roster
• Sub on the fly

NEW ADAPTIVE DIVISION ADDED!
The NSC is excited to announce the addition of the Adaptive Middle School & High School Divisions! Team placement, coaches, and pinnies will be provided. Individual registration – $38/player.

REQUIRED FORMS DEADLINE – Monday, October 13th, 2025. 

Team Manager/Coach – Please follow the instructions below to start the required forms process for the event. 

1. When accepted, you will receive an acceptance email with a ‘Go to Dashboard’ link at the bottom. Select this link to be directed to your dashboard.
2. From your team dashboard, copy the “Share Invite” link on the left side below your team name and send this out to your team members. Each parent/guardian will need to input their child’s information and agree to the player waiver before joining the team.
   • This step is REQUIRED for each player to be listed on the tournament roster.

Please note, proof of age is NOT required, however you must be prepared to provide proof of age for each player at the tournament IF the eligibility of your team is in question.

Enter our Kick-or-Treat Costume contest by taking a team photo and submitting through our link below (2025 link coming soon)! Take a picture at the event and tag us on social media as well! The winner of the contest will receive a prize pack (announcement coming soon!)

As long as costumes don’t get in the way of play you are allowed to wear them. If an accessory hinders play you will be asked to remove it and leave it on the sideline.

Referees and/or Tournament Official has final say on whether a costume hinders play. If costumes are too similar to opponents, home team must wear pinnies.

Refunds will not be issued. Teams dropping from the tournament prior to the registration deadline will receive a voucher in the amount of the team fee paid. The voucher is valid within one year of the event and can be used for the following NSC tournaments. Using the voucher is based on availability and does not guarantee acceptance into the event.

Teams dropping from the tournament on or after the registration deadline will not receive a voucher. 

Weather Cancellation Policy – If cancellation of the entire tournament occurs due to weather conditions, each team will receive a refund in the amount of the tournament fees or a voucher to be used at future NSC 2024 and 2025 events. This does not apply to weather delays, shortened, rescheduled games and/or cancellation of tournament games after the event has begun. 

Event Cancellation Policy – The following policy will be enacted IF an event hosted by the National Sports Center MUST be canceled by the directives of the State of Minnesota or the Minnesota Department of Health. Please know that our top priority on making decisions moving forward will be the safety and health of our players, coaches, referees, employees, and fans. The team will receive a refund for your event entry. 

• Team registration refunds will be processed at 100% of the registration total. Refunds will be credited to your account *Please note that if a team elects to drop prior to the event cancellation, the above refund policy will be in effect. This includes teams making their own decision to withdraw prior to the potential cancellation. If a customer (club, team, individual) is required to quarantine due to illness or exposure to the COVID-19 virus, and are unable to participate for this reason, a refund will not be issued unless done within the parameters of the existing policy.
