Introducing our first All American Girls Hockey Tournament Featured Team: the 12U Lady Lancers! The Lancers are coming all the way from Omaha, Nebraska for the tournament this November, and we are so happy they are making the journey to the Super Rink!
The Lady Lancers are a team that takes pride in the supportive and nurturing environment that they create for their girls program. The coaches and team leaders do their best to ensure that their athletes are growing both as an athlete and personally.
One major aspect that sets the Lancers apart is that they have different team leaders for every game. This allows all of the girls to develop their leadership skills from a young age. What a unique opportunity for these female athletes! Through every game, these girls learn valuable teamwork and leadership skills, along with the value of trusting one another. Another aspect that sets the Lancers apart is their game day ritual/pre-game warmup: dancing to Cupid Shuffle in the locker room.
The Lady Lancers’ favorite memory together is team bonding at the lake. I’m sure Cupid Shuffle was played many times during this trip!
We are looking forward to seeing the Lady Lancers November 11-13th at the 30th anniversary of the All American Girls’ Hockey Tournament!
