Speak Up at Target USA CUP is serving three main pillars around mental health – expanding awareness, increasing education, and connecting with community organizers. To build on this, the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport (USC-MHS) is offering its ACT! Mental Health Awareness Certification course throughout the entire USA CUP event!

Time slots will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis, so sign up early with the link provided below!

Annie’s ongoing message about the importance of Speak Up is that “There’s an underlying stigma surrounding mental health in sports that athletes are ‘too tough’ to suffer from mental illness. So, spreading this awareness shows that the National Sports Center and Target USA CUP supports all athletes who may be suffering from any type of mental illness.”

Thank you Annie for Speaking UP and helping to raise awareness for such an important cause! Continue to break the stigma.
