The 2022 Herb Brooks Holiday Classic was a highly anticipated event for high school hockey teams and fans alike. The tournament, which took place from December 26-28, featured intense competition as teams battled for championship titles.

The championship games were held at TRIA Rink in Saint Paul, where three divisions would battle it out for the championship title. Princeton emerged as the Boys Varsity Silver division champion after defeating Simley 4-1 in the final.

In the Boys Varsity Gold division, Holy Angels Academy took on Roseville in a closely contested battle. In the end, it was Holy Angels who came out on top with a final score of 3-2.

The Girls Varsity Gold division saw Duluth Marshall go up against Mounds View Irondale. The Hilltoppers took home the division title with a final score of 6-3.

In the Girls Varsity Silver division, the Duluth Northern Stars faced off against the University School of Milwaukee. The Northern Stars, who had a strong showing throughout the tournament, came away with a convincing 4-2 victory to claim the division title.

Overall, the 2022 Herb Brooks Holiday Classic was a resounding success with talented teams and moments that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations to all of the division champions and all of the teams who participated in the tournament. We look forward to seeing you in 2023.
