Celebrating Women’s Golf Day!
Women’s Golf Day is an annual global event that celebrates and promotes women’s participation in the sport of golf. It serves as a platform to bring women together, whether they are beginners, enthusiasts, or professionals, to experience the game in a supportive and inclusive environment. This day provides opportunities for women to network, learn, and enjoy the game while breaking down barriers and stereotypes associated with golf. Women’s Golf Day is important as it encourages women of all ages and skill levels to discover the benefits of golf, such as physical activity, mental well-being, and social connections. By highlighting women’s involvement in the sport, it aims to create a more diverse and inclusive golfing community.
Victory Links Golf Course is one of the 880 locations in 80 countries that participates in this worldwide event. As a golf course dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for all golfers, Victory Links celebrates the diversity of its player base and actively encourages women to participate in the sport. By hosting Women’s Golf Day activities, the golf course aims to provide a platform for women to connect, learn, and enjoy the game while building a sense of camaraderie among female golfers. Whether through instructional clinics, friendly tournaments, or networking opportunities, Victory Links Golf Course plays a crucial role in empowering women and promoting their active involvement in the sport of golf.
This event additionally celebrates teaching women and girls how to play golf, which are fundamental skills that last a lifetime in the sports world. On this day, participants can be introduced into the sport of golf while also celebrating existing athletes.
Victory Links is offered special promotions for Women’s Golf Day, including a Women’s Golf Day Clinic which took place earlier this afternoon. Additionally, women received free green fees, $20 cart fees for 18-holes or $14 for 9-holes, and $12 meals with 2 for 1 alcoholic beverages.
